This is going to be a very appropriate and interesting lesson for us, since it was less than a month ago that my grandfather passed away, and although he wasn't killed during a war, he was a retired veteran and therefor was given military honors at his funeral. It was a very impressive ceremony and I hope instilled deep respect in my kids for the military. I am looking forward to watching the video tape of the ceremony with them tomorrow as part of this lesson.
